Foster Grandparent program
The AmeriCorps Seniors’ Foster Grandparent program matches seniors 55 and older with children between ages 0-21 who need a little extra support socially, behaviorally or academically in classrooms and youth programs.

Senior Companion program
The Senior Companion program brings together volunteers ages 55 and older with adults in their community who have difficulty with the simple tasks of day-to-day living. Companions help out on a personal level by assisting with shopping and light chores, interacting with doctors or just making a friendly visit.

Retired and Senior Volunteer program
The Retired and Senior Volunteer program (RSVP) connects volunteers ages 55 and older with service opportunities in their communities that match their skills and availability. Volunteers build houses to immunize children, as well as enhance the capacity of non-profit organizations to improve and protect the environment. RSVP volunteers put their unique talents to work to make a difference.
