Lauren Fitzgerald

Lauren Fitzgerald serves at Genesis Community Health in Garden City, and supports patients with care coordination, follow-ups and connecting them to resources like prescription assistance or health education. Fitzgerald’s long-term goal is to become a physician, ideally working in a community-focused setting where she can continue serving underserved populations and help reduce health disparities. 

“One of the most meaningful parts of my service has been when patients come in and recognize me. They greet me by name and share updates about how they’re doing — it feels really special to know I’ve built that kind of trust and connection. It reminds me that even small efforts make a lasting impact,” Fitzgerald said.
